Aside his primary legislative duty, which is making beneficial laws for smooth and effective governance of the country, Omogbehin has also been empowering his constituents with majorly the youths as the centerpiece of his capacity-building initiatives. In the last quarter of last year, he made a bursary award to all the prospective Law School students in his constituency. Each of the awardees got a sum of N50, 000. Noah Akinteye, one of the beneficiaries, now pursuing his compulsory one-year legal education at the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus, told this magazine the money was a huge relief to him as it came at the time he needed it most. He said history will be kind to the legislator for investing in his future and other beneficiaries.
